Women’s Flag Football Coming to Missouri Valley University This Spring
KMMO features Missouri Valley University adding women’s flag football as its 34th varsity sport, with competition beginning this spring. Dillon Humphreys was hired as head coach and has already recruited more than 20 student-athletes for the 2026-27 academic year.

Humphreys brings extensive experience from playing and coaching with the All-Army Flag Football organization (2014–2022). The Vikings will compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, facing a 12-game conference schedule plus five non-conference contests against opponents including Baker, Graceland, Missouri Baptist, Park, William Penn, and William Woods. The first game is scheduled for February 24. Student-athletes will have full access to athletic training, strength and conditioning, and academic support resources.
